Items are handmade to order, thus are not eligible for rush shipping. While we will strive to make your SpoonScape© pendant as soon as possible, we sometimes get very busy with other orders. Please allow 3-4 weeks to make prior to shipping.
Sterling items typically take a bit longer as we do not keep a large stock, and may need to acquire material. Typically it only takes only a few days to a week longer. However, depending on available supplies, the number of outstanding orders, and other factors it may take longer.
Please allow plenty of time if needed by a specific date also let us know date needed when in the Special Requests section.
During the cutting and bending process of silver plated spoons, the underlying metal which may contain copper, nickel or other base metals may be exposed. While copper may react with the natural acids on some people’s skin to create a harmless green color, it generally does not cause rashes or other issues. The back of contains copper includes a clear enamel coating on the copper to provide a barrier between your skin and the copper. This coating will also significantly slow but not stop the copper from oxidizing.
Unless otherwise noted, charms and beads are made of silver plated zinc or other lead and nickel free alloy.

Do you have silverware gathering dust in a drawer that you never use, because the time never seems right to use, or you don’t want to split it up between your children, or no one in the family really wants it? Now you can have beautiful custom jewelry made from your family’s heirloom silverware that can be passed down for generations along with the family lore as to how the silverware initially found its way into the family.
If you would like to use your own silverware for this item, prior approval is required before ordering. While we often use customer provided silverware you must still get approval, as a few types of silverware do not bend well for some jewelry products. Please fill out the Personal Silverware Use Approval Form. Once approved, we will provide you with shipping information and an approval code, to use in your order.
Also, depending on the pattern and needs, we are sometimes willing to trade your silverware for jewelry. By trading for excess silverware, the cost of your jewelry could be free. Please contact us for more details.
